Psalm 19:14 = May the words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
This verse has been one that I pray before writing a post or giving my testimony at Bible Study. That is my goal when I'm ministering to people.
But I haven't thought to pray it before talking to my kids or a friend or my hunky hubby - you know, in every day life. Lysa, on page ??, says, "Might I be a woman of the rare word of kindness? And might I even be so bold as to not just make kindness come out of my mouth but also be the meditation of my heart?"
THIS is my new prayer - "Father, may every word that comes out of my mouth and out of my fingers be acceptable and pleasing to you. Not pleasing to myself but to you! Help me to be mindful of what I'm saying (and typing) to your precious children. Help me to see the good in my circumstances, to remember that you ARE working, even when it doesn't seem like it!"
